Political vision

Political Vision
I define myself as a liberal social democrat.
My political outlook seeks to reconcile individual freedoms with social justice, economic dynamism with social cohesion, and civil rights with institutional responsibility. Politics, in my view, is the art of governing complexity — not performing ideology.
At a time of democratic fragility and rising polarization across Europe, I advocate for a reformist culture rooted in responsibility, institutional credibility and pragmatic decision-making. Progressive politics must demonstrate that it can govern effectively, protect democratic institutions and deliver concrete results.
I am a committed Europeanist.
I support a more integrated European Union, capable of acting strategically in foreign and security policy. Democratic societies require not only diplomacy, but also institutional strength, coordinated defence capacities and credible deterrence to safeguard peace and stability.
Security is not a conservative concept; it is a social one.
It means protecting the most vulnerable while also addressing the growing pressure faced by the working and middle classes — those who sustain democratic systems through work, taxation and civic participation.
I believe in a welfare model that promotes social mobility rather than permanent dependency. Public policy should enable work, entrepreneurship, education and upward mobility.
Civil rights remain central to my commitment.
I understand them as instruments of real empowerment: equal access to employment, protection against discrimination, economic independence and full participation in public life for women and LGBTQIA+ individuals.
My political perspective combines reformism, European integration, democratic resilience and social responsibility within a framework of institutional seriousness and rule of law.
